One of the major attractions at the 125th birthday of the Rand Show this year is the Joburg’s Talent event … offering prize money of R125 000.

To enter, submit a short video on the Rand Show website (randshow.co.za).
Videos can be posted until March 31.

Once all submissions have been reviewed, 125 contestants will be selected to the live elimination rounds at the Rand Show over the Easter weekend, April 19 to 22, with the finals taking place the following weekend, April 27 to 28.
Note the following:
• Your video must be no longer than three minutes and have clear sound and visual quality (check the audio before uploading).
• Do not over edit your video or use professional sound equipment (they are looking for a straightforward, unedited performance that shows both your personality and talent, even if it’s just you introducing yourself on camera and performing in your living room or backyard).
• Nominees will perform live on stage.
• Celebrity judges will crown the overall winner at the Joburg’s Talent 2019.
