Enter your Cansa Relay team
The cost to enter a team of 10 is R1 200 which includes five parking tickets and five luminaria bags.
The East Rand Cansa Relay for Life takes place at Boksburg Stadium from 7pm on March 8 to 7am on March 9.
It is the eighth event for the East Rand branch and organisers are very pleased that it will again be hosted at the stadium.
Last year’s event had to be moved to PG Park in Boksburg.

Yolandi Jacobs, community mobiliser fund-raising developer for Cansa East Rand, urges teams to get creative and get their entries in.
“Last year we had 47 teams and 134 cancer survivors participating.
“Our aim this year is to have at least 60 teams and 200 cancer survivors present.
“At the heart of Cansa Relay For Life is the opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, to remember those who have left us and create awareness about cancer,” she said.
The 2019 theme is Relay Olympics.
“Teams should create a team flag for the opening ceremony as there are amazing prizes to be won,” Yolandi said.
“We also urge teams to do pre-relay fund-raising because there are also prizes for the most funds raised.”
