Eight Distinctions
ST DUNSTAN’S COLLEGE: Franchesca de Moura achieved eight distinctions (English, Afrikaans, maths at 100%, business studies, consumer studies, life orientation, physical sciences and AP maths). De Moura was the top achiever at St Dunstan’s College and further to that, she was placed in the top one per cent of candidates per subject in the country for English, consumer studies and maths.
ST DUNSTAN’S COLLEGE: Hannah Keet attained eight distinctions (English, Afrikaans, life orientation, life sciences, maths, music, physical sciences and AP English). “I feel overwhelmed and ecstatic. All my hard work over the last few years has paid off more than I expected it to. I am so happy that this achievement has now opened the door for me to study Medicine at the University of the Witwaterstrand which has been my dream since a very young age.”
BENONI HIGH : Zahra Jhetam attained a grade average of 93%. She received eight distinctions (English, Afrikaans, maths, life orientation, geography, history, life sciences and physical sciences). “I feel very relieved. I gave it my all and the results have reflected this. What I’m most happy about is being able to study Medicine at the University of the Witwaterstrand this year.”
BENONI HIGH: Kalisha Anammaly achieved eight distinctions (English, Afrikaans, maths, AP maths, life orientation, accounting, economics and physical sciences). “I’m extremely grateful for my achievement and to the teachers who assisted me to reach this goal.
