On December 1 a Christmas party was held for around 100 elderly people from Pauline Davis Court and Denys Conradie (situated in the Benoni CBD) thanks to very generous sponsors, this according to Pauline Davis Court resident Stephen Rajagopaul.
“In particular, our thanks go to Rev Hilton Volkwyn from Benoni Central Methodist Church for the use of the hall,” said Rajagopaul.

“We would also like to thank Magdalene Ragagopaul for decorating the hall, Victor Kanagan (organiser and sponsor), Matthew Kanagan and his wife and family, and Hanu who provided the food.
“In addition, we would also like to thank Jannie from Spar for the bread rolls, Bishop Harris and Irene Morgan for the gifts and Nyameka and her group for the entertainment.
“We all had a wonderful time. May God richly bless those involved.”
