Benoni SPCA Cheer Fund ends on a high note

Finnemore said the funds collected will be used in the fight against animal cruelty in 2019.

The Benoni SPCA Christmas Cheer Fund drew to a close on December 31 and ended on a total of R37 220, according to SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore, who added this was a good improvement on last year’s R29 580.

While the target set for this year was R50 000, Finnemore was pleased with the generosity shown by the public.

“We would like to thank all the members of the public for their generous contributions,” she said.
