The Methodist Eddy House annual Christmas Lunch saw a huge success on December 1 when their resident turnout was the highest it had been in years.
This according to Alan Geddes, general manager of the Methodist Home, who said 96 of the 111 residents attended the lunch.
“The others were ill or away,” Alan explained.
This lunch was an initiative by the residents fund-raising committee who approached the outer community to sponsor the lunch.

The day was enjoyed by all after Alan welcomed everyone and thanked those involved in making the event a success.
