WARNING: South African Weather Service warns of extreme high temperatures this week
A heatwave has been predicted for Gauteng this week and South African Weather Service is warning residents to be aware as high temperatures are expected.
Advisory: A heat wave with persistently high temperatures expected in Gauteng and the south-western Bushveld of Limpopo from tomorrow Sunday until Tuesday.

With temperatures predicted to rise over the next couple of days, here are some safety tips to keep in mind:
- Always keep hydrated.

- Always apply sunscreen.
- Wear light clothes.
- Take cool showers, especially during the day.
