Make a difference to the children of Kids Haven

The items will be handed over to Kids Haven on December 20.

The KhumiCares Initiative is calling all public to donate food, clothes, stationery, toiletries and toys to the children of Kids Haven.

This is part of their Spread the Cheer campaign, which aims at bringing a little cheer to the children in need this Christmas.

Donations can be dropped off at a charity collection box placed at the Conservatory @ Lakefield.

Founder of KhumiCares Khumi Ngubeni said the purpose of this project is to reach out to the children who are likely to suffer from loneliness and despair due to not having a home or family to enjoy the festive season with.

“We hope with this little contribution we will make them feel less alone, and more like a part of a larger society,” said Ngubeni.

Items needed are non-perishable food, clothing (ages zero to 18 years old, for boys and girls), toys (appropriate for all ages), stationery packs and toiletries.

The items will be handed over to Kids Haven on December 20.
