An inquest and a case of murder were opened at the Daveyton SAPS.

Metro’s spokesperson Themba Gadebe said the City of Ekurhuleni condemned any manifestations of abuse against women with the contempt it deserves.

“In cases where the perpetrator is still alive, we call on law enforcers to ensure justice is served,” said Gadebe.

“However, in this case, the perpetrator has taken his life, therefore, we want to ask men to make a brace visit to our social services to receive help or any form of counseling to any life problems they may be facing, so that together we may avoid similar tragedies.”

Gadebe said they extend sincere condolences to the affected families.
