Tania Riley, founder of the organisation said once a month their meetings comprise either of a business presentation or they may take the form of a hands-on training workshop in other skill involved in cake decoration.

“There may also be a skilled artist who gives a demonstration on how to make a sugarcraft cake topper or how to cover a cake etc,” said Riley.

Their monthly meeting fee is R25.

However, if there is a hands-on training workshop the fee is charged at R130.

“These meetings at these prices are strictly on a member’s only basis.”

Riley said members may bring two children under the age of 18 along who will be subject to only the R25 meeting fee and not an annual membership fee as well.”

“Children cannot be accommodated when there is a hands-on training workshop taking place,” she said.

The R130 hands-on training workshop per member includes most of the tools and ingredients required for the workshop as well.

During the meeting there are raffles and refreshments are served.
