Gain the gift of self-discovery at Personal Growth Course

Participants must be 21 or older.

Building a new foundation for your life is the focus of the LifeLine Ekurhuleni Personal Growth Course.

The course itself has a very strong foundation as it has been presented by the organisation for over 40 years.

Gary Chapman, of LifeLine, explained the main aim of the course is to enable people to look at their life experiences and see how these have affected where they are today.

“Then, the course assists them to build a new foundation with building blocks they choose for themselves.

“Really, our Personal Growth Course helps you find yourself – something we believe is the greatest gift you can give yourself,” he said.

What can participants expect?

Chapman describes the course as an eye-opener.

“It will push you to open up to yourself in ways you haven’t done before, but also help you to put the right pieces together.

“Trained and skilled facilitators ensure a smooth process in which a non-judgemental and respectful environment is the order of the day.”

On completion of the course, participants can be selected to be a participant in LifeLine’s Counselling Course and, therefore, an opportunity to become a counselling line volunteer.

The first Personal Growth Course for 2019 takes place from February 11 to March 18.

It is facilitated on Mondays and Thursdays and participants can either be part of the morning or evening group.

Participants have to attend all the sessions as they are structured in such a way that there is build-up from one session to the next.

Once you have registered for either the morning or evening group, you will have to stay in your group until the end of the course to ensure confidentiality is adhered to at all times.

The cost of the course is R2 500 but there is an early-bird discount available until the end of January.

The course is held at LifeLine’s offices, 3 Russel Street, Western Extension.
