Man arrested for possession of stolen goods in Putfontein

The man is due to appear in court on October 19.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen goods on October 19 in Varkfontein, Putfontein.

Putfontein SAPS spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube said it is alleged the man had a disagreement with his partner the night before.

“He then stole the mags and tyres of the partner’s vehicle,” said Ramaube.

“The victim called the police and upon arrival, they found him in possession of the goods.”

A case of being in possession of suspected stolen goods was opened at the Putfontein Police Station.

The man is due to appear in court on October 19.
