Benoni Van Rhyn Lions remember Gert Heyink

The club also thanked Mark and Jeff Heyink for their continuous support and for making them the beneficiaries of the golf day.

The Benoni Van Rhyn Lions Club held a golf day in memory of the late Gert Heyink on September 19 at the Benoni Country Club.

The proceeds will go towards providing a media centre at Chief Luthuli Primary School in Cloverdene and other community projects.

The Lions thanked all the sponsors, players for their participation and the camaraderie from all involved and the support from Benoni Country Club.
