Rand Water calls for spare water usage as capacity reduced for few days
Due to technical challenges, the capacity at one of their main engine rooms has been reduced by 20 per cent
Rand Water would like to urge all consumers within its area of supply to use water sparingly over the next few days.
With temperatures expected to increase from tomorrow throughout their area of supply, Rand Water has appealed to consumers to use water wisely as doing so will assist in alleviating pressure on the reduced capacity.
They estimate the engine room will be restored to its normal operating capacity within the next few days.
