Tales from Turkington at Eddy House
Kate Turkington was in town.
Bubbly broadcaster and well-travelled writer Kate Turkington (left) visited the Methodist Homes' Eddy House on September 10 to talk about her latest book ‘Yes, Really! A Life’. The 84-year-old said the book is quite shocking, sexy and very sad. However, she guaranteed readers will laugh, cry and cheer all at the same time. During her talk, she encouraged guests to go out and conquer the world and to live life to the fullest. Turkington chats with Alan Geddes, manager of Eddy House, at the event.
