“Members found two suspects in possession of more than 600 counterfeit DVDs and CDs in Main Reef Road,” said BFS spokesperson, WO Grant Giblin.

“They were arrested immediately on the scene and the goods were confiscated.”

Giblin said another five suspects were arrested in Benoni CBD and one in Actonville after being found in possession of drugs with dagga and nyaope (heroine) being seized.

“Members of SAPS are determined to continue to fight against drugs and take into account the needs of the community,” he added.

“The community is encouraged to report any suspicious activities that are happening in their areas to their nearest police station or 10111.”

The suspects are charged with possession of drugs and the possession of counterfeit goods.
