Update: Water tanker stationed at Northmead Square following water shut down
Northmead Square is situated at the corner of O'Reilly Merry Street and 14th Avenue.
Water tanks will be supplied to the Northmead area following the shutdown of water supply following a burst pipe near the corner of Sixth Street and 14th Avenue in the early hours of this morning (August 16).

“We have shut down the water supply to prevent water loss and water tankers will be stationed at Northmead Square,” said Ekurhuleni metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe.
“Further details will follow should the shutdown of supply be for an extended period (beyond two hours).”
