Benoni Flying Squad makes arrests for drugs, counterfeit goods

A successful weekend for the BFS.

Seven people were arrested over the weekend for the possession of drugs and counterfeit goods and are expected to appear in court soon.

“Three suspects were arrested in Etwatwa and one in Actonville for the possession of dagga,” said Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) communications officer WO Grant Giblin.

“Another three suspects were arrested in Actonville for possession of counterfeit goods after a large number of CDs and DVDs were confiscated.”

The BFS members also recovered a silver Ford Ecosport in Nareng Street, Daveyton, over the weekend, close to where it was allegedly stolen.
