Any donation of clean clothing (adult or children) that’s in good condition, kitchenware, electric items, children toys, jewellery, blankets, linen and hearing aids will be well received by the Benoni Lions Club.
A monthly jumble sale is held at the Benoni Lions Community Centre at 111 Howard Avenue on the last Saturday of the month.
“We also welcome any donation of books in good condition for our monthly book sale at the Mall @ Carnival,” said the club’s Tina Strachan.

“We raise funds from the jumble sale and book sale and these funds are used for our service projects within the community of Benoni for the needy.
“The jumble sale and book sale are very popular and they add significantly to our coffer which in turn, makes it possible for us to fulfil our motto ‘we serve’.”
