Solving a ’’crime” while raising money

Lifeline Ekurhuleni hosts another murder mystery night

Lifeline Ekurhuleni hosted a Murder Mystery evening on June 27 and raised R7 000 through the generous support of everyone who attended the mafia-themed event.

The evening, held at Asiago Modern Italian Eatery in Western Extension, involved guests working together to solve “the ultimate crime”.

“We would like to thank everyone who attended for their support and generosity, those who donated prizes and items for auction on the night and the restaurant team for ensuring the event was a great success,” said Lifeline Ekurhuleni’s Gary Chapman.

“Not only did we raise money to help us continue with the essential services we provide, but we also had a lot of fun doing it.”

Asiago is a family restaurant owned by Shirley, Richard and Amanda van den Barg and Bridget Job, all who said they were thrilled with the evening’s turn out.

“As a family, it is very important for us to support organisations like Lifeline who do so much for the community,” said Shirley.

“We look forward to hosting more events like this in future where people can really enjoy themselves while supporting a worthy cause.”
