Public advised to avoid Atlas Road following attempted CIT heist

This is a developing story.

One suspect was left dead and a security guard left injured during an attempted CIT heist this morning on Atlas Road.

It was confirmed that no money was stolen during the incident which took place at around 6am.

Police have not yet confirmed the number of injured civilians.

The City Times was told that the road will remain closed until further notice.
