Unwanted paper needed for Kids Haven

All proceeds go to Kids Haven, as Mpact will pay them for the paper.

Plastic packaging manufacturers Mpact and the Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa semi-finalists need the community’s help to collect 14 tons of recyclable paper by the end of June, in aid of Kids Haven.

The paper recycling initiative, which was launched in May, forms part of the Mrs SA semi-finalists’ mandate to embark on a community project and see it through to completion.

All proceeds go to Kids Haven, as Mpact will pay them for the paper.

Kids Haven serves the needs of homeless and abandoned children in Benoni, aiming to better their lives by giving them a home, schooling and equipping them to be productive adults in the future.

“We appeal to residents and businesses to support this wonderful campaign by donating all their paper,” said Adele Thompson of Mpact.

“Newspapers, magazines, office paper, soft cardboard like cereal and toothpaste boxes, books and any other paper will be very welcome.”

Donations can be dropped at Kids Haven, at 34-38 Cranbourne Avenue, Benoni CBD.
