Raising funds for mission trips

The 3km and 5km walks were held in Aerodrome Drive, Northmead.

The Northmead Baptist Church hosted a fun walk on June 16 to raise funds for a mission trip to Swaziland.

The 3km and 5km walks were held in Aerodrome Drive, Northmead.

Church member Nimie Nathaniel explained that every year around 12 members of the church go to Swaziland to help those in need.

“They take care of terminally ill patients, conduct outreaches in schools and host church services in order to share the love of Jesus Christ,” said Nathaniel.

“We also hand out blankets and hospice care kits, which are sponsored by the Baptist Global Response.”
