Learners excel in Gauteng Tamil Eisteddfod
The Benoni Tamil School board represented the east region of the Gauteng Tamil Federation at the annual Children’s Tamil Eisteddfod on May 26 to 27 in Lenasia.
A total of 53 learners from the school participated in 78 items in the provincial competition.

Benoni Tamil School board were the overall winners in the language and music categories.
They received 27 gold, 37 silver and eight bronze certificates at the end of the competition.
