Several areas in Benoni are going to remain without water for another few hours.
According to EMM spokesperson Themba Gadebe, water has been restored in some areas, including Northmead, Benoni CBD, Benoni AH and Actonville.

“Farrarmere and surrounding areas are yet to be restored,” Gadebe explained.
“The city is monitoring the situation and water tanks have been sent to the affected areas.”
Water tanks are stationed at the following places:
• Farrarmere Primary School on Kwartz Street
• Engen garage on the corner of Great North and Celia Nestadt roads
• Village Walk Retirement Village on Kirschner Road
