What is a coaching café you ask?

Well, a coaching café is an opportunity for a group of people to get a taste of coaching in a 20-minute session with a coach.

“It’s a bit like speed dating, except that this is speed coaching,” Qvist, a Farrarmere resident, said.

“We can tell someone about coaching, but it is not the same as experiencing coaching.”

The best part is that Comensa will provide these coaching cafés free of charge throughout the year.

“A coaching café would be free of charge from Comensa coaches and is on offer to businesses,” she explained.

“Coaching is working with a client to help them identify a goal and for them to achieve that goal.

“A coach will help you identify the steps you will need to take, help you grow to be able to do those steps and hold you accountable.”

Qvist explained that there are two kinds of coaches – business coaches work with you in business and may also work with personal issues, and life coaches work with personal issues.

“Coaching is always confidential,” she said.

“A coaching café would allow you and your company to experience coaching at no cost and for you to see if this could be a solution to grow a team and to move forward as a team and as individuals.”
