Any donation of items in good condition – adult and children’s clothing, kitchenware, linen, toys and jewellery – will be well received by the Benoni Lions Club.
A monthly jumble sale is held at the Benoni Lions Community Centre at 111 Howard Avenue on the last Saturday of the month.

“We also welcome donations of books in good condition for our monthly book sale at the Mall @ Carnival,” said the club’s president, Tina Strachan.
“We raise funds from the jumble and book sales and these funds are used for our service projects for those in need within the community of Benoni.”
The club also collects hearing aids, which are provided to people with hearing defects, Strachan explained, to help give them a chance to hear again.
