Soon after the City Times published a photograph of a spectacular sunset over Homestead Dam, a reader submitted photographs which display the landmark in a different light.
Lindy Thomson took the pictures on April 18 and said the long grass could become a health and security problem.
Ward 28 Clr Malanie Haggard said the metro was expected to cut the grass before the long weekend. If that was not done, it would be done in the week of May 1.
