The protest at the Ekurhuleni East College in Northmead is continuing today.
An EMPD member on scene said at this stage the protestors are burning car tyres to get the attention of the college.

He confirmed the protest is not a safety threat to road users and said security is in place for Hoërskool Hans Moore.
“The police are monitoring the situation and the EMPD is monitoring from a distance,” he said.
