EMPD spokesperson Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago said three men armed with handguns and a knife attacked the woman.
The assailants stole a BMW 240i, laptop, cellphones, a wristwatch and an undisclosed amount of money, Kgasago said.
“The woman was unharmed,” Kgasago said.
“The black BMW was recovered two hours later in Esselen Park.”
He said a vehicle tracking company told the EMPD of the vehicle’s whereabouts.
The abandoned car still had the key in the ignition.
