LISTEN: Students protest in Northmead

There is a meeting at 11am.

Students from the Ekurhuleni East College are staging a protest in front of the campus in Dalrymple Street.

Some students told the City Times that the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) failed to pay their tuition and registration fees.

The registration fee is, according to the protestors, R1 270, which they are demanding back.

They are also protesting that they haven’t received transport money.
