Vumatel fibre coming to a place near you

Vumatel will dig in three more areas.

If you have noticed pink barricades in Northmead and Rynfield, it is because Vumatel is preparing the areas for a fibre roll-out.

“The guys are opening the drill pits,” said Vumatel’s representative, Travis Mason, on April 13.

“Drill pits are large holes we open on street corners which allow our directional drilling rigs to go underground”.

The roll-out will begin in Rynfield and Northmead on Monday (April 16) and in Airfield in May.

Mason said driveways will be dug, but pictures will be taken every three meters before and after, to ensure everything is reinstated to its original or even better condition.

Mason can be contacted on travis.mason@vumatel.co.za for any problems pertaining to the digging.
