The Ekurhuleni Central Tactical Team arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a rape case on March 6.
The man was arrested in Crystal Park at about 2pm.

Ekurhuleni Central Cluster spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said police received information about a man being wanted for a rape case in Putfontein in August 2017.
Police searched for the suspect who was later arrested.
The man was arrested and detained at the Benoni SAPS on a charge of rape.
Police have been searching for a rapist in Benoni for several months, but Sekele could not confirm if this suspect was linked to the other cases.
