The itinerary for the day consisted of a bug piñata, show-and-shine and an air-cool quiz.

People were encouraged to bring their air-cooled vehicles to the show for free.

Pretoria resident Ghatiem Hercules relaxes in his family vehicle, a 1974 model Bay Window. The vehicle has a customised interior, rims and headlights.

“Each vehicle was judged and the winners were given trophies,” said event organiser Cindy Joshua.

The chairperson of the Air-cooled Hooligans South Africa Chapter, Bernard Stander, judged the vehicles.
