The club was officially launched on February 23 at the school and already has about 130 children.
The Rotary Club of Benoni president, Charmaine Williams, told members that Bill Gates contributes $1-billion to Rotary International.
Williams also challenged the children to involve their friends so the club can grow.
Shirley Nontukozo (Grade 11) was inducted as the first president with her deputy Justin Dedricks.
The two will be supported by the executive team comprising Damon Darjee, Tayyabah Haffejee, Jenaette Zitha, Attiyah Naidoo, Asanda Mhlongo, Tryphine Takwena, Neel Kumar and Monalisa Kwambe.
The whole club will fall under the guidance of Ayesha Choonara who is an educator at the school. She will be assisted by Sharol Naidoo.
