The Benoni Lions Club is looking for donations of second-hand books and unwanted goods to be sold at their jumble sale.
The club would appreciate any donation of clean clothing in good condition, children’s clothes, kitchenware and linen.
A monthly jumble sale is held at the Benoni Lions Community Centre at 111 Howard Avenue on the last Saturday of the month.
They also have a monthly book sale at Mall @ Carnival.

Tina Strachan, president of the club, said as the Lemongrass Urban Market is coming to an end, the club needs an alternative venue.
The urban market supported the club.
All the funds raised from the jumble and book sale are put back into the community through service projects for people and organisations in need within Benoni and surrounding areas.
