Two wanted after Farrarmere house robbery

No arrests have been made.

Police are on the hunt for two criminals in connection with a house robbery on Monday (February 19).

Ekurhuleni Central Cluster head of police spokespersons, Lt Col Mack Mngomezulu, said the robbery took place at about noon at a house in Blake Street in Farrarmere.

“Two men entered the premises and found the domestic worker and gardener outside. They ordered them to go inside the house,” said Mngomezulu.

“The two workers were tied up, while the robbers opened a safe.”

The two men fled with cellphones, jewellery, personal documents and an undisclosed amount of money.

Only one of the men was armed.

A case of business robbery was opened at the Benoni SAPS.

No shots were fired.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
