Spreading the idea of entrepreneurship

The young men plan to teach others in the community.

Siya Sibeko (19) and Setu Mtshixa (19) started their new business Banterpreneurship on September 3.

The business is based online because it is an online community.

“At the moment we have a Facebook page, Instagram page, Twitter page and we are currently in the works of developing an app for our startup,” said Sibeko.

Sibeko was born and raised in Benoni although he now resides in Brakpan.

His partner Mtshixa lives in East London, however, they both spent most of their time in Pretoria due to their studies.

The pair are both second-year students studying a BCom in economic and management sciences.

They have a third person who works with them.

“Cebo Mpanza is our creative director, he designs all our graphics to make our content appealing and attractive,” said Sibeko.

“We have helped a lot of people so far, our content has reached over a thousand people according to analytics, and our feedback has been incredible.

“We plan on going to orphanages and homes this month to teach and spread entrepreneurship.”

Sibeko said their services and content online are completely free to the public.
