The Ekurhuleni Central Cluster Trio Task Team is searching for three men who allegedly killed a man in Wattville.
The incident occurred at Boikhutso Street, Wattville on February 4.
Ekurhuleni Central Cluster spokesperson Capt Ramothakhi Maqabe said it is alleged that a white bakkie was parked outside a tavern with two occupants inside.
“As the two occupants were inside the vehicle, three armed men started firing shots at the driver and the passenger without a word,” said Maqabe.

“The two occupants were shot in the upper body.”
The driver was certified dead on the scene by the paramedics, while the passenger was transported to OR Tambo Memorial Hospital.
The suspects fled the scene on foot.
A case of murder and attempted murder was opened at the Actonville Police Station.
No arrests have been made.
