Putfontein SAPS are looking for anyone who has information regarding a human foetus found on January 28.
The foetus was found at an open veld near Banda Street, Mayfield Extension eight.
Putfontein SAPS spokesperson, Const Justice Ramaube said a member of the community was picking up plastic for recycling when she allegedly came across a plastic with something like a human foetus inside.
“Upon investigation, police found the foetus concealed with a red plastic bag,” said Ramaube.
A case of concealment of birth has been opened at the Putfontein Police Station.
No arrests have been made, police are investigating.
