Success for Ashton’s matrics

The school did not have a failure.

Ashton International College achieved a 100 per cent pass rate and a 90 per cent bachelors degree pass rate in the Cambridge International Examinations for 2017.

The top achievers are:

Jade Somerville got eight distinctions for accounting (IGCSE), Afrikaans (IGCSE), geography (IGCSE), English (AS level), biology (AS level), chemistry (AS level), biology (A level) and chemistry (A level).
Sihle Tladinyane got six distinctions for Afrikaans (IGCSE), business studies (IGCSE), history (IGCSE), biology (AS level), chemistry (AS level) and mathematics (AS level).
Courtney van Heerden received six distinctions for accounting (IGCSE), history (IGCSE), computer studies (AS level), English (AS level), mathematics (AS level) and mathematics (A level).
Taylor Labuschagne received six distinctions for Afrikaans (IGCSE), computer studies (IGCSE), geography (IGCSE), physics (AS level), accounting (AS level) and accounting (A level).
Aqeel Sookaria received eight distinctions for Afrikaans (IGCSE), history (IGCSE), accounting (AS level), chemistry (AS level), English (AS level), physics (AS level), computer studies (AS level) and computer studies (A level).
Muskan Manchanda obtained seven distinctions for biology (IGCSE), acounting (AS level), mathematics (AS level), business studies (AS level), geography (AS level), business studies (A level) and geography (A level).
Tatenda Potera obtained five distinctions for history (IGCSE), mathematics (AS level), English (AS level), business studies (AS level) and business studies (A level).
Richelle Laing got eight distinctions for geography (IGCSE), Afrikaans (AS level), English (AS level), physics (AS level), biology (AS level), chemistry (AS level), biology (A level) and chemistry (A level).
