It’s not the first time the youngster has met her rolemodel

A young Farrarmere resident is over the moon after meeting Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.

Bayleigh Ellis (10) met Demi-Leigh at O R Tambo International Airport on January 24.

But it was not the first time the Farrarmere resident saw her rolemodel in the flesh.

Her mother, Veronica, said it was discovered in 2016 that Bayleigh had a brain tumour.

A social worker at the hospital where she was seeking treatment made contact with the Reach for a Dream Foundation, telling them that the youngster looks up to Demi-Leigh.

Mid-2017, Bayleigh met her rolemodel and enjoyed a spa day with her.

Veronica said her daughter, who is now in remission, would like to be Miss SA one day.
