The incident occurred in Anderbolt, Boksburg, at about 1.30pm.
Ekurhuleni Central Cluster spokesperson Lt Col Mack Mngomezulu said it is alleged that the two brothers were involved in a quarrel at their business premises.
“One of the brothers shot the other three times in the upper body,” said Mngomezulu. “He then fled the scene.”
The victim was taken to hospital by a colleague.
The case was opened at the Boksburg North Police Station.
The man will appear in court soon.
