The accident took place around 7.20am on the N12 highway west of the Atlas off-ramp.
“The accident involved three occupants but only two women were injured – one from each vehicle,” said ER24 spokesperson, Liam Hardy.
According to Hardy, one patient who was treated by ER24 sustained minor to moderate injuries and was transported to Life The Glynnwood Hospital.
The other patient sustained minor injuries and was transported to Sunshine Hospital by another emergency service.
