Cheer Fund almost doubles

In January 2017 the SPCA received a heart-warming amount totalling over R60 000 which was raised through the Benoni SPCA Cheer Fund.

This is Odie, a loving female Border Collie-cross that was brought to the SPCA after running away too often.

This year they hope to raise between R35 000 and R40 000.

In last week’s edition, the cheer fund was sitting on R8 154.20 which, has since, almost doubled to R14 939.20
