Share your lights with others
Our Christmas lights submissions have been slow since the launch two weeks ago, but there is still time to submit your light information.
So far, our only submission is the Christmas Cottage at 47 11th Avenue, Northmead.
Christmas lights will be switched on from December 9 to 26 from 7.30pm to 10pm.
Santa Claus and Top Dogs will visit on December 15 and 16 from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
Letters to Santa may be dropped off at the location too and if you supply a local return address, Mother Christmas will answer all the letters.
If you want to showcase your Christmas-themed lights this year, then submit the following details to sheinar@caxton.co.za:
• When the lights will be on display
• Duration of the lights being on display (start and end date and time the lights will be switched on)
• Address where the lights will be displayed (business, home, organisation)
Responses to the above information will be published in the City Times to give community members an opportunity to visit the locations to witness the bright displays.
