The two men, aged 24 and 35, were arrested shortly after the murder on Bomba Street, Daveyton.
Daveyton SAPS spokesperson Capt Mesh Makole said the three men had been previously involved in a fight.
“When the two alleged suspects came across the now deceased at a local tavern, they got involved in a quarrel once again,” said Makole.
“The victim then went to the bathroom and the two men followed him.”
Makole said the man was stabbed twice in his upper body.
Paramedics declared him dead on scene.
The duo is expected to appear at the Benoni Magistrate’s Court today (December 4).
