Driver seriously injured in Tom Jones Street accident involving truck

A man sustained serious injuries when the car he was travelling in collided with a truck on Tom Jones Street last night (December 3).

One person was seriously injured on Tom Jones Street, on December 3.

The accident happened on Tom Jones Street, near the N12 bridge, at about 7.30pm.

Clair Wolstencroft, ER24 spokesperson, said the driver of the truck was not injured.

She said the man in the light motor vehicle required Advanced Life Support intervention.

He was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital.
