Dog found on Cloverdene Road recovering from burn wounds
A dog was found with burn wounds on its body this morning (November 25).
A community member found the dog walking along Cloverdene Road, at about 8am.
Annalise Jungmann, director at The Animal Guardians (Tag), said her organisation was called to assist.
“[The dog] was found by a concerned community member of the public, running up Cloverdene Road towards Chief Albert Luthuli Park,” said Jungmann.
“We have taken him to our vets to be treated.”
The extent of the injuries must still be determined, but Tag has appealed for members of the community to contribute to the vet bills.
