The maintenance work planned for Tuesday will affect customers in 11th Avenue and Fifth Street in Northmead,” said Themba Gadebe, the metro spokesperson.
“On Thursday when a 200mm steel pipe will be connected, customers in Farrarmere will be affected.”
The interruptions are expected to be from 9am until 4.30pm.
Gadebe said roving water tankers will be available to supply customers with water while repairs are underway.
The metro apologises for the inconvenience.
